National Curriculum Information

Reception

Children in year R follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Details of the Early Learning Goals can be found on page 10 of the Statutory Framework.

Key Stages 1 & 2

Children in Key Stage 1 (years 1 & 2) and Key Stage 2 (years 3, 4, 5 & 6) follow the National Curriculum for English, Mathematics, Science, Art and Design, Computing, Design and Technology, Geography, History, Languages, Music and Physical Education. We may teach these as discreete subjects but often combine subjects using a topic based approach.
